As an Interior Designer, you will work on the interior aesthetics of an area for clients, either in a domestic or commercial environment.

Job Requirements

The process begins with an initial sketching or drawing phase, where you and your clients can agree on the final designs of their project. For example, if you're designing a new office space, you sketch and discuss your designs with the company to ensure your design fits their working culture.
As an interior designer, you blend various elements together to create a functional space that looks good.
You consider the style of the room's furniture, the safety of the room, how the design of the room uses space and how the functionality of the room interacts with its design.
Interior designers understand industry trends and incorporate the latest decorations, lighting and building materials.
