Community Arts Assistant

Job Description

As a Community Arts Assistant, you will assist your team in carrying out operational tasks eg. supporting classess, art exhibition openings, dance workshops, etc.

Job Requirements

Engage with members using the centre, making them feel welcome, helping with enquiries etc.
Communicate with non-members using the Centre (including employees and external clients) at all levels about specific projects as well as general inquiries.
Support the organisation of special events and trips (e.g. Christmas and Easter parties, variety shows, cultural events etc.) through research and planning.
Design and support activities to ensure that Claremont is reaching particularly isolated older people.
