As a Pharmacist, you will be a specialist in prescribing and dispensing drugs. They may be hospital- or community-based and work in a variety of sub-specialities of medicine, including oncology.
Responsabilities
Pharmacists own and operate independent pharmacies where they dispense prescriptions and sell over-the-counter medications, plus advise customers and offer various NHS services.
Provide care in a range of settings, often at the heart of local communities.
Have a role in preventing people from getting sick by helping them live healthier lifestyles and making sure they get the most from their medicines.
Receive, store, and inventory pharmaceutical supplies or medications, check for out-of-date medications, and ensure inventory levels aren't low.
