As a Fabric Technologist, you will carry out a range of technical, investigative assessments of clothing and textiles to make sure they meet quality, ethical and legal standards.
Responsabilities
Assess the cost and capability of the fabrics and ensure the fabric is within the capabilities of the machinery.
Provide technical support to the designer and production team by carrying out sourcing and testing of fabrics amongst others.
Develop new fabrics based on fashion trends and working closely with fabric mills.
