As an assistant engineer, you will be desigining exciting projects and making sure they are delivered to the highest technical standard, whilst developing your own skills and learning from experienced directors and engineers.
Responsabilities
Assist the assessment of factual and interpretive information arising from field observations, site investigations and technical reviews.
Assist the team on designs, including calculations of remedial works to a standard commensurate with best available techniques not entailing excessive cost.
Draft drawings and prepare cost estimates, whilst assisting the team in carrying out feasibility studies.
Assist in the assessment of environmental impact of remedial works and completed works and where appropriate advise on a written programme to minimise that impact.
